Your MSc program, Student Career Services and study association Asset | Accounting & Finance organize several events and workshops to prepare you for the job market. For example, every semester Career Services offers Generic Skills workshops for both the BSc and MSc programs within TiSEM. Next to this, there are also guest lectures and career events organized.
After participation in the information sessions, training and workshops of Student Career Services and career events, students will have the knowledge and skills needed in order to be well prepared for entering the labor market. They can reflect upon themselves in terms of qualities, pitfalls, values and interests in relation to the labor market and they have a good idea about the career possibilities after graduation.
The Generic Skills sessions of Career Services are aimed at application skills, such as creating a CV, learning how to present yourself, preparing for assessments, etc. Career Services and professionals from the work field provide information and tips about how you can prepare yourself for the job market. These sessions are not obligatory but definitely recommended if you want to be well prepared for the next step in your (academic) career!
Next to the Generic Skills sessions for TiSEM, Student Career Services also offers several trainings and workshops open to all students from Tilburg University.
