After completion of this course, you are able to:
- make a good sermon or reflection, using the nessary theoretical frames (homiletics);
- prepare, execute and evaluate a liturgical celebration, using the nessary theoretical frames (liturgics);
- critically and reflexivly comment on your own pastoral-liturgical activities and those of others, both orally and written and substantiate your opinions academically.

This course runs parallel to the internship of the students. This means the classes stand in close relation to the sermons, reflections and liturigcal celebrations the students prepare, hold or participate in during their internships. A theoretical framework is given to connect the pastoral praxis to the academic reflection in class.
In class-discussion, different aspects of the internship-expierenceses are discussed using specific literature on specific topics. Therefore, both reading, discussing and presenting by the students are crucial for this course.
