A Master Thesis consists of a number of chapters (introduction; research question; theory and background literature; method; results; interpretation; discussion and conclusion) which, taken together, should result in a text preferably no longer than 35 pages (approx. 15 000 words), excluding table of contents, references and appendices.
Students write their Master Thesis during the second half of the year, i.e. starting in January. Writing a Master Thesis should take approximately four months (three days of work per week), as it's worth 15 ECTS (= 420 hours of work).The Master Thesis coordinator for the track ‘Ritual in Society’ is responsible for assigning supervisors to students. Students will be informed about the procedure concerning their thesis topic and supervisor through their thesis supervisors.
