Students write their master thesis during the second half of the year, i.e. starting in September if their program commenced in January or starting in January if their program commenced in September. Writing a thesis should take approximately five months (three days of work per week), as it's worth 18 ECTS (= 504 works of work).
The master thesis coördinator (see above) for your specific track is responsible for assigning supervisors to students. Students will be informed about the procedure concerning their thesis topic and supervisor through their thesis supervisors.
Reporting
A thesis consists of a number of paragraphs or chapters (introduction; research question; theory and background literature; method; results; interpretation; discussion and conclusion) which, taken together should result in a text of preferably no longer than 35 pages (approx. 15 000 words), excluding table of contents, references and appendices.
