At the end of the course the student is expected to:

-recognize the relevance of certain macroeconomic phenomena and macroeconomic problems for businesses
-to fluently reason with basic macroeconomic models
-understand the interaction between different markets
-have knowledge of the key institutions and the motivation for the policies they pursue.
