|The courses Advanced Topics in Marketing 1 and Advanced Topics in Marketing 2 comprise tutorials and seminar presentations by internationally renowned scholars in marketing. Each scholar will discuss his or her study and related readings in a tutorial preceding the seminar. Attendance at all tutorials and seminars is mandatory for students taking this course for credit. While tutorials are restricted to enrolled students, seminars are open to all UvT faculty, students, and guests. |
Students are expected to read the presenter's paper thoroughly. In addition, the visiting scholar may assign related readings. You may expect a minimum of six tutorials and seminars per semester (this number will most likely not exceed ten per semester).
The seminars of the marketing department are held on Wednesday afternoons. Tutorials are typically scheduled on the same day of the seminar. The schedule will be sent out weeks in advance of the event to all students taking the course for credit.
